Opening August 23rd, 2025, Skóg offers a multi-course tasting experience inspired by the forests and landscapes of Lithuania, interpreted through a Nordic lens. Grounded in seasonality and guided by a deep commitment to sustainability, each menu is a thoughtful exploration of nature through food. Optional beverage pairings are carefully curated to complement and elevate the experience.
The team behind Skóg includes chef Arnór Ingi Bjarkason, originally from Reykjavík, Iceland, and the first chef in Lithuania to receive a Michelin Green Star for his commitment to sustainable gastronomy. In the dining room, service is led by Lina Marija Balčiūnaitė, a Vilnius native and recipient of the Michelin Service Award in the 2025 guide. As the Michelin Guide noted, Lina is bringing professionalism and a deeply personal touch that creates an immediate connection with guests.
The name Skóg — Icelandic for forest — and its birch leaf logo reflect a deep sense of place and story. Every element at Skóg is shaped by nature, memory, and a quiet reverence for the land.
